Stupid question: where to buy (retail) men's swimming briefs

I have been to Sports Authority and a variety of surf shops and haven't had any luck.
A few years ago I bought some at Macy's at the mall, but they were some weird brand... I'd like to find a place that just sells standard Speedo briefs.

I don't know where you are, but I would bet there may be a local swim or dive shop in your area that would carry these.
If you're metro DC, I can think of plenty of places that could help you out.
