I thought I read somewhere that in a race if you switch lanes and don't interfere with other swimmers and finish in the orginal lane, it is leagal. Is this correct for uss swimming. If it is what rule number is it in the rule book?

it would be in a summer league race.
why though? just to see if it get's called?
It'd be more fun to have him wear a women's suit and swim...IMHO...even try to compete with the girls to see if it get's called...
