I'll give it a try. I'm entered in the 50 back at the arizona meet this weekend so I'll try it with a noseclip, and try to maximize the distance on the start and turn. I figure it can only speed me up, since backstroke is my worst stroke. I haven't done a backstroke start in 20 years or more, I'll have to work on that during the meet warm up (no blocks at my pool)!
