Not to mention people used to exploit the rule by using "standup starts" where you basically stood on the edge of the gutter and held on to the top of the block. Those starts were great. Imagine the SDK you could get off one of those!

when i was in high school, stand up starts were still legal, and let's just say that while trying to learn them, a t-shirt over your suit was a very good idea. and they never did work for me. :notworking:
