Any comments on the latest USMS Swimmer magazine and Nadine Day's pullouts?
I for one thought the entire 5 pages were excellent, all the tips great.
The photos are very clear, and Nadine has great form.
Well done!!
Wayne, I have a question. I thought that the rule for breaststroke was that you had to do a two-hand touch with the hands in the same horizontal plane. If you have one hand touch 6 inches lower than the other when you turn, will you get DQed?
Wayne hasn't replied so I will. The interpretation of the rules doesn't require the hands to be in the same horizontal plane during the touch at turns or the finish. Only during the swim are the hands required to move in the same horizontal plane. It is allowed to have the hands at any orientation during the touch as long as both hands touch simultaneously.
