Swiminfo.com has released a post saying that Amanda Beard will be on the cover of the July issue for Playboy.
How do you think this will effect her image among the swimming communties? Will any of us purchase this issue because of her?

I blame Swimming news for linking it to swimming.
Double standard is the labelling Leslie. Let's be honest if your son was going to be in a men's mag for girls it wouldn't be so "potentially" harmful to him as far as judgements go.
What if Amanda was posing in a *** mag...would it be better from a feminist point of view. She's would not be offering herself up for men to objectify ;)
