Swiminfo.com has released a post saying that Amanda Beard will be on the cover of the July issue for Playboy.
How do you think this will effect her image among the swimming communties? Will any of us purchase this issue because of her?
Personally, the decision to "accidentally" flash your crotch while getting out of a limo versus posing in playboy is really no different. You are pretty much letting everyone know that you don't have much to offer other than your naked body.
I can't imagine that money is a big need for Amanda. Even if it is, it's too bad she thinks so little of herself that her only option to earn money is to strip. Maybe she finds it empowering or something, who knows. On the other hand, she is now part of an elite crowd, she joins the ranks of Anna Nicole Smith.
