Swiminfo.com has released a post saying that Amanda Beard will be on the cover of the July issue for Playboy.
How do you think this will effect her image among the swimming communties? Will any of us purchase this issue because of her?

There have already been some pretty racey pics of her in other magazines. Although she's on the thin side, she's pretty sexy. The timing seems a bit odd, right before an Olympic year. But maybe that's the point. I never read Playboy, :rofl: , so I can't comment on whether it still does curvy. Maybe playboy is caught up in the thin obsession like the rest of the nation.

And Rich: Whats this slaming on MLS stuff all about anyway. David Beckham is out of his prime but still plenty good enoug for MLS?? Wait for the next Champions League Finals o.k. Richie Boy!!....I hope an MLS team ends up trouncing Man United or Arsenal!!
