I've only seen the fins and haven't tried them. I think they are for both strength and form. I'm scared to try them. Just as paddles can help some people and ruin other peoples shoulders I'm afraid they would hurt my knees. I'm always on the edge of knee pain and find I must be very careful. If anyone has used them and likes them let me know,but I doubt I'd ever use them.:dunno:
