I haven't thought this through so it is probably a hairbrained idea but...
Has anyone ever proposed a national Masters gathering that is not "championship oriented", e.g. where you aren't limited to three events if you can't make NQTs, perhaps with an associated open water event, and just more of an orientation toward gathering than high performance?

This is shaping up to be a really cool-sounding event. Personally, I can envision something like this happening around a USMS Nationals meet or the USMS Convention, where some of the fun/ informational/ gathering activities would be mixed in with the more formal activities, and a swim meet intermixed to top it off. Make it a week-long event or something!!!
May be someone math oriented (Bork?)could figure out the nexus of all paths for participants and we could have the gathering there. Fargo here we come!

Love the SA relay, as long as their is no breaststroke for me ... what about a FAF relay?
