I haven't thought this through so it is probably a hairbrained idea but...
Has anyone ever proposed a national Masters gathering that is not "championship oriented", e.g. where you aren't limited to three events if you can't make NQTs, perhaps with an associated open water event, and just more of an orientation toward gathering than high performance?

Perhaps the festival should include a study of this phenomena. I will volunteer to run the stopwatch and take notes of the girls' swims.:D :banana:
