I haven't thought this through so it is probably a hairbrained idea but...
Has anyone ever proposed a national Masters gathering that is not "championship oriented", e.g. where you aren't limited to three events if you can't make NQTs, perhaps with an associated open water event, and just more of an orientation toward gathering than high performance?

My favorite one is when Sandy the Squirrel wants to go back to Texas. Hilarious if you are from Texas and sad because I could relate to her plight!
