I will go out on a limb and say that we will see at least one of the two (Crocker or Phelps) under 50 for the first time. Maybe even both, but I predict Phelps will take it......
Any others?

I think Phelps is on a roll. He has shown repeatedly that he swims very well over multiple days. Ian has raced just about 70 secs in three heats of 50 fly. He should be fresh of course but Phelps is completely warmed up and full of confidence.
Phelps showed he has 100 speed - both in his 100 relay leg and his first half speed of his 200s. He was faster than Peter V. at every split of the 200 free.
I think Phelps will go out in the 100 fly like it is a 50 and he will finish with his usual strength. Crocker will match Phelps at the 50 (when Crocker normally has a lead) but will not match Phelps' finish.
Phelps swims 50.29, Crocker 50.49.
