Feeling Slow

I did my practice yesterday - I felt sooo slow. My times were slower and just felt like I was dragging. I pretty sure the pool I practice is slow any way. I could feel that I was fine in the deep but as soon as you cross the line for the shallow end, man... it was a struggle. Sometime, I feel fine though, my 100's practice time range in the 1:15 - 1:20, but yesterday it's was 1:20 -1:25. What the problem, is it me or what??? Does anyone else get this way??

  • We had that awful rain too. What gives? YUK! Doesn't the weather know that this is SUNNY California? :thhbbb: Unfortunately, I had a dead battery in that deluge and had to wait for AAA for an hour at my son's school- tooey. That, plus a sinus infection, kept me out of the pool on Monday. Tuesday, I still didn't fell well. It really just makes me WANT to get back in the pool more on Wednesday. (Come on drugs, kick in!) I've only got out of the pool due to injury (back or shoulder- see new thread I'm going to start), but I have had really bad workouts and wanted to get out. I just stick it out and think, "If I were in the middle of a race would I get out?" Probably not. Remember the worst day swimming is still better than not swimming at all!
