We have a few grudge races amongst forum regulars coming up at Colonies Zones. They are:
Muppet vs. Dave Barra: 200 fly
SwimStud vs. Muppet: 50 ***
Fortress vs. SwimmieAvsFan: 50 back
Here's the poll. Place your bets; no limits on voting. All races should be hotly contested. All commentary, advice and cheering accepted. If anyone else has another grudge race, pile on.

Thanks Fort! I am hoping to make dinner. Originally my hubby was coming along, but we had to change plans this week due to mini-he & mini-she schedule conflicts, so I'm a single girl for the weekend.
I've been a little shy lately. Looking at the psych sheets I'm feeling a bit slow... No doubt I'll get trounced in the 100 IM--isn't it like the first event on Sunday? :snore:

The meet starts at the very civilized hour of 10:00 am both days. There is a rough timeline on the website at www.patriotmasters.org. for checking out the grudge races, the most important of which is the 50 back at the end of the day on Saturday involving your teammate. ;) I will be taking a big hit off my inhaler before falling into the water for that race.
The psych sheet does not reflect all times changes or entries. For example, I know that Dave Barra is no longer seeded at a 1:20 in the 200 fly. He, he.

Anyone who needs a videotographer...I'm spectating/cheering all day on Saturday, so if you want a race filmed, just let me know. I probably can't do as good a job as SS's daughter - but I'll give it my best.

Is this fair? Rich is wearing my heels and you're stealing my drugs? I already am going to have to breathe every stroke in the 100 free ... I want another handicap.

AHHHH....I'm now seeded 9th in the 1650 so if one person in the fast heat doesn't check in I'll get bumped up. Not sure how I feel about that since I have a bad problem of going out WAY too fast! This will be a test for sure!
