Perhaps the loser of any grudge match should agree to wear the "flower cap" in the warm-down pool after.... (of course, I'm not swimming this year so I feel a tad bad suggesting this :D)

Regarding our trash talking forum dinner: Dave, I don't know offhand any Italian restaurants in Fairfax that take large groups. I did call and confirm that Red, Hot & Blue, Julie's suggestion, has a private room that could accomodate 15-20 people perfectly and is available Sat. night at 6:30. It is on 4150 Chain Bridge Road, the main drag, so no one gets lost. (703) 218-6989. Carbs can be had there too. They would like an exact number of people. Colonies zones psych sheets are up... entries as of April 5; nearly 500 swimmers. I am hoping for a few entries to come straggling in so Rich and I can get in the same heat for the 50 ***! My aggressive 200 free time landed me two heats ahead of Barra; looks like he'll be setting the bar in both that and the 200 fly. The backstroke ladies all look pretty bunched together, but also split up. patriotmasters.org Should be exciting!!

I have permission from Cheryl to put in any 50 backstroke time I want at the last minute before meet sheets are printed. I may put in a 30.678345, like that blue muppet you know, or whatever time will put me in the adjacent lane. Ha, ha. (Of course I don't want to get drown by SP either.) I'm sure you could request a time change too ... The pressure is really on now that coyote/death star man has challenged us to produce some funky colonies zones vids. P.S. I peeked quickly at the psych sheets and my secret nemesis is not there. :eek: :shakeshead: That is no fun at all! There's also almost no one swimming the 100 free in my age group.
