We have a few grudge races amongst forum regulars coming up at Colonies Zones. They are:
Muppet vs. Dave Barra: 200 fly
SwimStud vs. Muppet: 50 ***
Fortress vs. SwimmieAvsFan: 50 back

that softens the loss of 1 bottle of patron gold to the dynamic muppet which i will graciously deliver by hand at the bay swim.(if he is bold enough to tap that puppy at the pre-race, i'm sure it will be a swim sans neoprene or anything else!)
I have heard the best way to swim the bay is drunk. Heard that from a guy who had his best crossing still drunk from the night before.
Half-heeding that advice, I had a glass of wine the night before my first crossing on my first date w/ the blue muppet and did just fine the next day.
a pre-race swig certainly isnt out of the question...
