Ok so I miss the NY Aqua fit spring Fling b/c of stomach virus at the weekend.
I sneeze and threw out my back yeserday morning and now am staring NEM or more accurately NO-NEM in the face. I'm gonna be a bad tempered breaststroker if I can't make it to NEM.

I agreed to sore knees, sore shoulder, manky ear, brittle hair, cold water induced atrophy, blocked bugle, stinking like clorox, and looking comical doing fly.
Why I gotta have lower back issues too? :'(

Well, here's one for my books. Yesterday (Sunday) I was washing all of my windows and the glass sliding doors between our two smaller bedrooms. After all the years of rain and no new deck boards, I didn't notice they were "giving" way. I stepped into a weak one and fell through the deck boards, bounced off the yard fence onto gravel 15 feet below and didn't break anything. However, I am heavily bruised and have lots of wood scrapes, but after a few hours, I went and swam a 3 mile swim. It was fabulous: until today. I woke up feeling like I had been in a car accident and am bruised that dark purple/yellow color all over my legs and back. Not only didn't swim today, but walking was painful. The good news: I am not injured, just REALLY banged up so I will go swim tomorrow.
Just had to rant and gripe because had I looked more carefully, I wouldn't have stepped on those boards. My husband said: Gee, I didn't think those boards were that bad! So, until those boards are replaced, we will have dirty glass sliding doors.

That sound painful Donna. The fact that you can still do some physical activity is very good. I would probably still be under the deck wondering how I got there and where the truck went that hit me.

I'm pretty okay even though I look like I took a few rounds with Rocky in the ring. People jokingly asked me if my husband did that to me and I replied with this: You should see him. Did 4 mile swim today to get the soreness worked out and it worked pretty well. Maybe the bad bruising will make Simon the Shark think twice about taking a bite out of me. Like I said: blubber bounces really well.

I have swum with the brown thumbnails before and they did not bother me, though the locals (Mexico) said that they do bother some people. The others however......lets just be glad your friend has a pool!!!!!!
