Fast Twitch: Workouts for sprinters

At the request of Doug Adamavich, I'm about to start a new feature on the Arizona Masters Web site's blog called Fast Twitch. It's not much different from what Ande Rasmussen is doing on this Web site. I won't be weighing myself and I will probably not go into much detail on weightlifting, though. I will post workouts each day (twice a day on the two days a week I do doubles) and add some comments and other stuff. Since the blog on Arizona's site has no place for comments, you are welcome to post your thoughts about my workouts on this thread. My first post is on the blog now. Take a look and I'll see you on the flip side. Jeff

  • Jeff- just to check, are all your workouts for this blog in yards? They are yards unless otherwise specified. The pool will probably be turned into long course in mid-April, when the college and age group kids come back from break, though it will not be long course all the time. Because I am also training for a long course meet in June, swimming long course is just fine. Plus, it will help my short-course endurance.
