Well, I've always had good luck with the swimming supply companies I've ordered through (either catalog or online). However, due to my recent experience, I must inquire whether this has happened to anyone else? A recent Kiefer catalog had close-out warm-ups on sale for 9.99 - 19.99 each piece (tops/bottoms). My wife loves to wear these warm-ups so I ordered her a set online. I never rec'd any communication to the contrary so after about 2 weeks of nothing showing up my wife called Kiefer to check on the order. At that time, they told her they were sold out of all the close-outs they had. Yes, she was disappointed, first, at the fact that they were sold out and secondly, that we were never advised of it as she would have picked out a different make/model/etc. of what was still available for the close-outs.:dunno:
Good question. My assumption is they never actually charged the credit card but I haven't rec'd that statement yet. I'm sure I won't be charged but it still isn't very good customer service just to leave a buyer (potential buyer) hanging like that.

Please tell me you at least got your money back? That does sound pretty outrageous!

I always use kiefer, just because they carry the perscription goggles I use..and it's easier to pay shipping and handling once instead of twice to order through another venue. But I did have a similar problem with them earlier this year. I had ordered a few things...and when the box got here it was all mangled and destroyed and inside I was missing one of the items I had ordered. It was still on the enclosed invoice with no mark or indication regarding where that item was, it was shipped seperately or what not...so I called them up and sure enough it was on back order. It would have been nice to have recieve some indication-e-mail, phone call, letter, whatever to let me know.
