I have never swam in lcm before but I plan to this summer. What adjustments should I make to training for lcm in a scm pool?

Actually my USMS coach timed me and it takes me almost 3 secs to make a turn. I don't flip turn because I run out of breathe trying.
I need some professional help there. My coaching is now via e-mail since I just relocated to Atlanta and there are no swimming coaches near me.:frustrated:
