Hydration: HydraCoach

Hey everyone! So, admittedly I am horrible at the whole hydration deal. I drink when I can pretty much, instead of carrying liquid with me constantly. It's mostly because I live in an apartment and to save money I buy powdered mix, so basically I am lazy and don't want to take the 3minutes it takes to make a new pitcher of ice tea...but thats not really the point. Actually, having said that...I'm also bringing up the 2nd part of my problem...I drink juices and ice teas and not water....I don't EVER drink soda, and I no longer drink alcohol so...I suppose i'm not as bad off as I could be...but none-the-less I know I need to drink water more consistently. A few months ago I bought this cool water bottle from bed bath and beyond that holds "the reccomended 8 glasses of water" granted its very large and therefore cumbersome to carry around to and from classes. Although during winter training when I was driving to and from school instead of riding my bike I was using it on a daily basis and feeling much better. That all being said, and sorry this is a long intro...today I was at Sports Authority and in the checkout line they had strategically placed what would appear to be a God-send. It's called HydraCoach. "the worlds first interactive water bottle. it calculates your personal hydration needs, tracks your real-time fluid consumption, paces you throughout the day and motivates you to acheive and maintain optimal hydrations." So I haven't yet used it, or opened it...just got it a few hours ago...but I am hoping it can really help me reach my hyrdation goals. Has anyone ever heard of this product? Does anyone else have a problem getting the right amount of fluid intake daily? ~~~Morgan~~~
