To the practioners of the most noble stroke...Hip pain?
Former Member
I'm a breaststroker...for anyone who confused "noble stroke" with some other lesser stroke....;) Usually the one part of my body that hurts is my shoulders and occasionaly knees, but my hip has been killing me lately.
I have double jointed hips and they occasionally slip out of place, but I can usually pop them back in easily and it only takes about day. My hip has been hurting for about a week now and it's different pain then slipped out of place.
Any ideas what could be causing it or how to fix it?
Merci Beaucoup!
Kyra, what the heck is going on in your avatar? I can't figure it out.
Anyway ... I would suggest, and I very well could be wrong because hips aren't my area, that you gently stretch and do some light weights or resistance bands that would strengthen the area. For example the sitting machine where you push your legs in and the one where you push out. Maybe light side, forward, and back kicks with a band around your ankles first. Don't do anything that hurts.
Really, you might want to see an orthopod, I'll let you know when I find one to marry.
