Sorry to hear this SwimStud and Allen is right, ice is magical because it reduces swelling which is the primary cause of pain after overuse. Ice is not easy to come by, so I use a bag of frozen peas!! I mentioned recently that I was training smarter now, not everyday, and it has done my shoulders a world of good. I may have spoken a little too soon, I woke up today and everything hurts: my ankles especially, my right hip, left knee, shoulders don't hurt but are sore, and I am so fatigued. I was supposed to do a straight 4 miler today, non stop, but I am rethinking this now. I may not swim, or just swim a teensy bit. So, you have a temporarily crippled friend here in Roatan who says: I feel your pain!! And I am laying on the couch with peas on one shoulder, corn on the other, brussel sprouts on my left knee, and my ankles elevated; I look like a vegie salad in the making. Donna
