Good thing I haven't slowed down. I'm a whole .1 faster than I was at 12. Oddly, I'm still ranked about the same now as I was then. Not sure what that says. Kristina: Where's that 400 IM? Cruise: Where exactly are those breaststroke times? Surely, there is someone besides Jim doing breaststroke? I seem to recall a lot of loud pontificating and defending of honor from various breaststrokers... So far, we've mostly heard from a lot of sprinters. Fortress: I LOVE that new avatar! Is that your youngest? 400 IM? I NEVER swam it as a kid. I was a die hard sprinter as a kid. Nothing over a 100. And I only swam 200s (and the 500 FR a couple of times) after some major kicking and screaming. I swam 400 IM once as an adult and by some fluke ended up w/a top 10 in the world masters. (Not many people must have swam it that year.) So, there's nothing to compare it to.
