Where do you swim?
I joined the local county recreation facility (where I went 10 years ago) which is actually top notch. They host many high-level meets.

I swim at a Lifetime Fitness where the lap pool is open 24x7. Our pool set up (along with lots of others), looks like this (lap pool next to family fun pool with slides). We also have an outdoor pool w/designated lap lanes, but this is MN, we don't see it much. If I want starting blocks I'll have to head up to the LT in Plymouth. . . about 30 min away (mine is 10 min max).
