Okay, so we all like each other. Well, mostly. S-o-o-o, it does stand to reason that each and every one of has an outstanding DVD to recommend for me ( & the rest of the forums gang) to rent for viewing over the holidays: Two categories: 1.) Seasonal DVD that we must watch 2.) Non-seasonal any genre DVD that will make our holiday viewing. Thanking you in advance.

Liv was an OK elf. But there wasn't even a decent kiss in any of those movies! What about passion?! Plus, I just liked Eowyn better. I liked the second movie in the series best. There were too many endings in Return of the King. And I got really sick of the sappy hobbits. I also have in my permanent DVD library: Gladiator, Braveheart (yes, I know Mel Gibson is a bit of an ass, but I love seeing him kick Edward I's butt) and, on a less gruesome note, Love Actually. OK we're going to fall out if you intend to give credibility to Braveheart...that was mostly fiction. As for LOTR...you leave the furry footed halfings alone, and while we're at it, we don't need soppy love scenes and kissing wrecking perfectly good magic/fantasy movies... It's like in action films when they have 20 minutes to save the earth but still have time to make out...drives me nuts. :frustrated:
