Okay, so we all like each other. Well, mostly. S-o-o-o, it does stand to reason that each and every one of has an outstanding DVD to recommend for me ( & the rest of the forums gang) to rent for viewing over the holidays: Two categories: 1.) Seasonal DVD that we must watch 2.) Non-seasonal any genre DVD that will make our holiday viewing. Thanking you in advance.

  • I agree. But Liv Tyler was very elvish, don't you think? Yesterday was a cold, windy day and when I got home from the HS b-ball games my son was watching The Two Towers. We spent the rest of the day watching that and "Return of the King". I hadn't seen them before. The books are much better. Liv was an OK elf. But there wasn't even a decent kiss in any of those movies! What about passion?! Plus, I just liked Eowyn better. I liked the second movie in the series best. There were too many endings in Return of the King. And I got really sick of the sappy hobbits. I also have in my permanent DVD library: Gladiator, Braveheart (yes, I know Mel Gibson is a bit of an ass, but I love seeing him kick Edward I's butt) and, on a less gruesome note, Love Actually.
