I can understand swimming crawl distance workouts but why swim distance backstroke, butterfly or breaststroke?
How many events are there that are over 200m for fly, breaststroke or backstroke.
To swim anything but max speed for workouts for these strokes is not worth the effort.

There was a lot of talk about butterfrog while you were away. Terry posted a butterfrog video. I think there were some other posts on that subject too; can't remember where. MMA.
I am not doing any distance workouts for any stroke. Some really smart guru told me that endurance was overrated and I should focus on quality workouts since I'm not hitting the pool enough as it is.
