the 2007 American Short Course Championships are taking place in
Austin, Texas from
Thursday February 22 through Saturday February 24, 2007
it's a Prelims / Finals meet
the QT's tend to be a little slower than junior national times plus on
Sunday February 25 there will be a Long Course Time Trial
here's the 2007 meet info

The Texas Swim center is one of the fastest pools in the US
So I'd like to go on record and invite elite masters swimmers who
1) are USS registered, and
2) have the qualifying times and can prove their times
to consider attending this meet, it's going to be fun and fast.
Last year they allowed lifetime best times plus
they tend to swim 4, 5 or six heats in the finals more of the shorter events than longer ones
so some masters might earn the chance to swim events again.
Details are not up yet but they are likely to be found at:
www.utexas.edu/.../HostedMeets.htm
please think about it and let me know if you're coming
especially former Longhorns like Jeff Commings and John Smith.
It could be a great way to tune up for
2008 USMS nats in austin
Plus it will be a fun meet to watch
consider yourself invited and
now you have plenty of time to prepare, plan and make travel arrangements.
It's gonna be a good un.
spread the word.
your friend,
Ande
Ande,
As much as I enjoy making excuses to go to Austin, I don't know that I can get it together for the meet by February.
You must have bad technique.
