FSII Kneeskins - It Ain't No Prom Dress

Okay, I got my first FSII kneeskin the mail. Aside from the sides being silver see-through, does anyone else (I guess this would apply more to females than males but I could be wrong) feel like He-Man's twin sister in this get up? I've enjoyed the FSII Recordbreaker (female swim suit) and this is my first knee skin. I didn't want the full body skin as I swim lots of IM and breaststroke. I don't expect to look great when I get up on the block. . . should I just look at it as I'll scare away all my competition. . . Talk about doing what it takes to swim fast. I think I'll NOT invite my husband to the meet. :frustrated:

  • Kristina, Aww..you make me feel better. You're so kind to say that. You are doing a fine job at practice and I know you are going to kick butt this weekend. You'll be tapered and I think you will surprise yourself! I was so disappointed that I couldn't make Bob's visitation Sunday. My Aunt and Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary party was at the same time. I had an upset stomach all the next day..(nerves?) and my mom was in the hospital at the sam time as the funeral. I really wish I could have gone to give Rosemary (his wife) and his girls a hug. "It does make me rethink priorities in life. Swimming while sick - piece of cake and happy to be swimming at all. Makes me think of one of the Navy Seals sayings - something to the effect of, "Be happy to feel the pain. Pain is your friend. It means you are alive." How is it that I learn more with each passing year but know less and less at the same time? " Oh my....how true this is. The older we get the less we seem to know because life sends us harder and more difficult things to handle. Just do the best you can and take one day at a time! :groovy:
