I have been lurking for awhile and decided to register. There are many controversial and interesting threads here. Swimming is controversial, and seems to provoke a spirited debate. The pure entertainment value of such debate seems worthwhile too. So do we really have to "hit the delete" button before posting something potentially controversial about the sport of swimming? I read this advice in an "angel" post. Aren't we allowed to discuss noodling or TI -- provided we are not overly in love with ourselves or hurling personal lard bombs?

  • Nah, I have no intention of hitting the delete button just because a topic is controversial. someone will want to know how long I can hold my breath underwater with help from others How long? :laugh2: I think we had this swimmer vs. coach debate before. As I recall, the coaches were being modest then. I will note that the ancient Greeks thought that water caused men to fall in love with their own reflections. Frank: I think you're baiting Donna.
