Delete button?

I have been lurking for awhile and decided to register. There are many controversial and interesting threads here. Swimming is controversial, and seems to provoke a spirited debate. The pure entertainment value of such debate seems worthwhile too. So do we really have to "hit the delete" button before posting something potentially controversial about the sport of swimming? I read this advice in an "angel" post. Aren't we allowed to discuss noodling or TI -- provided we are not overly in love with ourselves or hurling personal lard bombs?

  • I see you have been reading the art of the Geek, Gull, Terry, Cruise, GoodSmith and company. I hit the delete button a couple times on a thread last month and George (Geochuck) scolded me for it. I had to send a couple PMs. Don't be afraid to opine away, but be prepared for some of :blah: and :thhbbb: and:rofl: and  . (Where did the bickering smilie go when I need it?) It does help if you are not "overly in love with self."
