Simple. You have absolute power to change any technique rules, start/finish rules, age up rules, sky is the limit as long as the rules pertain to swimming. What would you change and why?

How about a penalty for excess height in freestyle sprinting. I'm thinking a 1 second penalty per 50m for every inch over 6'1" for men.
in breaststroke it is blaspheming the most beautiful stroke by allowing a movement from it's evil cousin.
If I were dictator, I would oulaw the use of breastroke and beautiful in the same sentence.
Well, I have a serious one actually.
If drafting is against the rules in open water (in FINA it is) then it needs to be enforced. None of this ridiculous, 3 or more people is OK but 2 people is not business.
On the other hand if drafting is Ok, then the rules need to reflect that. Current rule enforcement is pretty stupid. USMS wisely elected to stay out of the whole drafitng matter.
- Make the metric system the only standard. All pools in yards, whether it's for practice or competition, must be modified to fit 25m or 50m.
- No more expensive body suit for men. Only a brief is allowed.

Love the first idea. Hate the second one. I love the fit of the body suits. I wouldn't give up mine without a fight.
