I'm 55, in reasonable shape. I bike, walk, swim, lug my 21-pound grandson around!
I have begun to get serious about swimming and have been in the pool six days a week. Fellow swimmers at Masters this morning adviused that six days a week might ust be too much and suggested back off to every other day.
Anyone have exeperiences to share in this regard?
Thanks,
Mark

Arman Hammer who was the billionaire CEO of Occidential Oil swam every day of his life and lived well ito his ninetys. Rose Kennedy was a life long swiimer who swam in the sea and lived past 100. The biggest hurdle I agree is if you burn out and become bored. If your feeling good and its working for you go for it. I swim daily myself, may go 7 8 days then skip one or two depending on what I am doing travel ect. I am 52, ..pace yourself and enjoy your swims, sounds like youre doing that!
