...did anyone who watched American Idol last night notice David Hasselhoff in the audience toward the end of the show, with tears in his eyes, looking strangely like Sophia Loren?

Everyone in my house whined when Chris got kicked off and that doofus Taylor Hicks won
Same here. My kids hated Taylor and he reminded me of the lounge shows one can see in Reno/Vegas....has beens and wannabe's are their mainstays.
