OK, OK, so this isn't really a swimming topic...
...sorry...
...did anyone who watched American Idol last night notice David Hasselhoff in the audience toward the end of the show, with tears in his eyes, looking strangely like Sophia Loren?
(Was it just my imagination?)
...aw ::SNAP:: they just showed it on the Today Show. (haha laugh-laugh)
I have two young children and this show is very family friendly. I'm sure we could be doing better stuff as a family on those two nights but this is a big hit in our house. And, when you TiVO it, you can watch the show in about 30 minutes.

How could anyone have watched the final hour of borefest American Idol when the season finale of Lost was on? :)
TiVO, my man, TiVO.
Cable DVRs are the same basic thing as TiVO. But, cable companies are the pits to deal with. Go DirecTV with TiVO or their new DVR offering, you'll never look back.
I don't even work for either.
We have Dish DVR and have two TVs on one box, so can DVR one thing downstairs and one thing upstairs. I then manage to catch up on TV shows sometimes on the weekend. Still haven't watched House yet.

Was it my imagination, or did Clay Aiken look like a male Lindsay Lohan with an anime hairdo?
I'm not an Idol fan, but some friends and I used the finale as an excuse to get together and have a few laughs. We've done the same thing for other shows like Survivor and America's Next Top Model. Survivor's pretty amusing when they get to the swimming challenges.
It seems like a lot of Masters swimmers I know are addicted to at least one reality TV / game show.
Which ones do you watch?
I did not watch AI the Clay Aiken year. He is one very odd looking singer. But that was truly funny with the look alike.
Meatloaf was a bit odd, although he always was. I thought Prince was great and would have liked to see Paris with him since she idolized him.
I can only keep up with AI and Survivor. Along with Lost, House, and sometimes Invasion, that usually fills my DVR viewing time and I don't have enough hours to watch. And my husband has started me in on ....Deal........or No Deal.....

You need to watch House. It's a good one that leaves you wondering about next season.
And, for all of you nay-sayers. American Idol is quite addicting. Just ask my husband. He said that he would never watch it, but now he's more into than I am!
Funny, it was my husband who always watched it from season 1, and last season was the first one I watched from start to finish. Partly because this season and last had rockers.
