How do you create an official usms team? What do you have to do to get it approved?

USMS also has a helpful guide called "Building a Successful Masters Swim Club" available online at:

I used an earlier version of this guide to create a club at the Peddie School in New Jersey in 1994. I did everything the guide suggested - followed it like a checklist. Within a year, we had 100 registered swimmers.
