figured I'd start a thread where we could talk about the meet
anyone have any comments?
Blistering swim by Ethan Saulnier, 36, of NEM in the 1000 free with a 9:34.14. That's movin'! Just a little off the Nat. record of 9:31.89.
Jim McConica moved up to the 55-59 age group and battered the previous record of 10:39.9 with his 10:07.36 swim. No big shock here, though.
All those extra red blood cells didn't help our own (Evil) Paul Smith who struggled a little and finished at 11:00, well off his seed time of 10:40. I'm not counting him out for the rest of the meet yet. We all know the 1000 is a novelty event for him :D
