Love my New Aqua Jogger

For the past month, after my 3500 yd swim workout I find an open lane and spend 15-30 min using my Aqua Jogger to speed down the lane at a 5:00 min 100 yd pace. As a tool to rehab a running injury, there is probably nothing else like my Aqua Jogger. As a Triathlete, I suffered achillies tendonitis late last year that left me unable to run or bike. So I was stuck with swimming only over the winter months. I have now started to run on trails and my legs and achillies feel much stronger than I thought possible from doing pool work exclusivly. I have seen some bad press on this site recently concerning the Aqua Jogger, so just my 2 cents, but if you need a good cross training tool, I highly reccomend the Aqua Jogger :D

An AquaJogger is a foam flotation device that is worn around the waist and keeps you from sinking to the bottom. The now famous cover of the upcoming USMS Swimming Mag has an actual picture people wearing AquaJoggers. They seem to be doing aqua aerobics, but I use mine to simulate running in a non impacting manner.
