May/June cover of USMS Swimmer

Anyone else find it a bit odd that the cover of the May/June issue shows "swimmers" wearing flotation vests?

I am also a member fo Master Rowing Association. As far as I know, no one ever complains about that organization's magazine. It is really a very good magazine. It covers most aspects of the sport, is interesting (I read every article, unlike USMS's mag), and is very polished. What amazes me about it is that there are advertizers init that have nothingot do with rowing. I hope once we at USMS have an Executive director our magazine will become even better!

I couldn't agree more. I am deeply saddened to read their posts. I am particularly disappointed in the views expressed by the geek; there is no place in USMS for this type of behavior. Noodlers are always welcome at our practices here in New Bern. Just stay out of our way.

It would appear that their force is stronger than first thought. Next workout have the group swim butterfly and they will be exposed - your daughter will see the light and be saved!

This thread just keeps going and going. I had to share a lane with an aqua-aerobic type athlete this AM. Aside from the fact that she tended to drift into my part of the lane on occasion it was no big deal. Actually, it was kinda nice to swim with somebody so slow. :D I was doing a 8 x 50 on :50 and I felt like a superhero compared to my lanemate. Long live noodlers! :p

Help required urgently. The noodlers at our pool have become quite a strong political group. Their complaints about us making too much splash have led to some of our squad swimming dog paddle to avoid what they call annoying and unnecessary splashing. We also get into trouble if we exit the pool via the ladder or crane that rests in their assigned area. Seperately my daughter dropped me off one day and mentioned that "they look kind of cute”. I’ve not been able to sleep well since and would like to know exactly what she may mean by this comment. Perhaps a sports psyc could help me answer this question.
