Anyone else find it a bit odd that the cover of the May/June issue shows "swimmers" wearing flotation vests?

Help required urgently.
The noodlers at our pool have become quite a strong political group. Their complaints about us making too much splash have led to some of our squad swimming dog paddle to avoid what they call annoying and unnecessary splashing. We also get into trouble if we exit the pool via the ladder or crane that rests in their assigned area.
Seperately my daughter dropped me off one day and mentioned that "they look kind of cute”. I’ve not been able to sleep well since and would like to know exactly what she may mean by this comment. Perhaps a sports psyc could help me answer this question.
