I think I found the best music for long distance swimming-probably best for a long Ocean Swim........... "Dub Side Of The Moon" by the Easy Star All Stars.
It's an awesome remake of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon by Reggae Artists. They plan to cut a remake of Radiohead also.

I've never understood why peole use music to "distract" them whil swimmign. I love to listen to the sounds I'm making along with the other peole in the pool. My father once said that if you get bored while swimming, you aren't working hard enough. Another one of his golden statements was "Perfection seldom achieved, often ignored." I blame that statement for my bad spelling!
I don't think I play music in my head while swimming because I'm bored.
I'll sometimes match the style of music to how I'm swimming.
Something slow and steady for a long swim or set.
Something with a fast beat and high energy for a sprint or intense set.
