One topic of great interest to us all is
"What do you need to do to have a major swimming breakthrough?"
"What do you need to do to significantly improve your swimming times in the days and weeks left in THIS season?"
What I'm looking for are specific, nitty gritty type suggestions.
I think it's really easy to fall into a rut,
to just show up and go through the motions
rather than seizing the moment while we train.
Does anyone have any thoughts on
what we need to do to significantly improve?
I thought this would be an interesting topic to discuss

I've already taken it up a notch by committing to 4 - 5 swims/week and keeping to a 3000meter (minimum) workout - I can really feel the difference in my swimming from just this.
Next steps to really bust it out:
I'm a solo swimmer so I need to push myself more often. It's easy for me to just coast.
SDk off every wall
Get back into strength training - weights 2 times a week, maybe 3
Be more consistent with yoga
Keep on keeping on with the healty diet - I'm eating a lot more healthfully these days so I need to stay with this and if I can, I'd like to lose about 10 pounds.
And of course, visit SFF every day and work a tip a day
