Don't you think there might be few too many polls being taken on this site lately? Nothing against them in general, but you have the feeling that any moment someone will post a poll asking if we secure our swim trunks with one knot or two...
I don't see anything wrong trying to quantify things. I could have simply asked the questions without it being a poll, but someone is going to have to tally it up in the end. It helps me think when there is some data attached to it (granted our data are certainly not as scientific as the Census :) ).
And don't worry. I won't post a poll about how many knots. Maybe what color. :p

I'm female - I don't wear swim trunks. So my answer is none. :-)

So, while I am no advocate of marxian socialism, I fail to see how the words "Christian socialism" or "democratic socialism" would cause me to blow chunks, spew, hurl, regurgitate, drive the porcelain bus, pray to the porcelain gods, vomit or puke.

I think we've all had our little jokes here now.....which was all innocent enough and certainly does not offend me in anyway....I just think we need to now move back to swimming quickly before we all get into trouble for taking a slight political turn here....even if it is just a little innocent humor....we don't want to upset big brother now do we??
So yaeh polls are cool...sure that's the ticket....polls about SWIMMING....yaeh swimming is cool too!

No, they aren't allowed at all, sorry. Socialism was banned years ago in the USA and exported to Canada.
Well I've posted two polls here (both in recent weeks)....It all started when I went to start my first every thread (titled "Dual Affiliation") ....it was then that I noticed that the option to post a poll with the new thread was offered.....well it sounded too inviting to pass on....so I went ahead and included the poll.....It is sometimes hard to resist the temptation to play with new gadgets that are being openly offered to you.....especially if you have a somewhat childish mentality like I do (or lets say like all men do).
