Anyone swim with a snorkel?

Does anyone here train or swim with a snorkel? I'm not sure if it would offer any advantages in training, except maybe taking some stress off the back and neck. But I guess this is the place to find out.

Wow! If one has blown out their shoulders this could be a huge advantage for workouts by decreasing stress on the rotator cuff(s). The trade off would be a possible loss of (bilateral) breathing, OK no breathing at all, and losing body rotation and reach. For some of us that would be so worth it! More yardage, less ouch!
