I will be visiting Las Vegas in December and was wondering if anyone had any information on whether any of the Hotels have a lap pool, or at least a few lap lanes. I have call several, including Mirage, Bellagio, Luxor, and Excalibur, without any luck.

  • I was in Vegas in July, stayed at Mandalay Bay. They have a large wave pool, with markers that go across the bottom indicating a change in depth. I went out to the 6 foot line, and pretty much had that area to myself. There is only 1 wave every 2 minutes I think, and it really wasn't that strong anyway. The length across was almost exactly 25 yards!! Most hotels heat their pools year-round (I've been in winter before), so you can always adjust to wherever you stay. Another option to consider--UNLV has their university pool. I looked into this once, but the hours were a bit limited. The campus is extremely close to the strip.
