Goggle eyes

Does anyone have a good suggestion for minimizing the after effects of 1 1/2 hours in a pair of goggles? I'm in my 40's and have tried many, many different styles of goggles and experimented with tightening etc. I have rings around my eyes for at least a couple of hours after swimming. It's not that big of a deal -just wondered if anyone knows of any tricks to minimize the after effects or some miracle goggles that don't leave such marks. I realize that the main problem is age--(less elastic skin) Can't change that! Thanks!

Yep. Remove your goggles and try some of the few drills where you don't have to wear them. Of course as a backstroker that's easy but maybe someone has freestyle type drills without goggles. The best thing to do is to go in person to a store that serves swim teams and universities. You'll find a wide range of goggles. My store keeps a version of each pair they sell behind the counter. You can try them all on. Speedo Socket Rocket is what I think Phelps wears and it's very narrow. Speedo Vanquisher is what I think Coughlin and Hoff wear. Also very narrow.
