Question does any one feel the differance ,when switching from 25 yards or 25 meters , to 50 meters. do you get tired,or do you swim slower? Can you swim as far as you would in a 25 yard or meter pool , as you do in a 50 meter pool?:) :)

Whenever you do a turn, there is a brief period of rest immediately afterward when you are streamlining. When you're swimming in a long course pool, that happens less than half as many times, so you get correspondingly less rest. But if your turns aren't done well, it's also possible for them to cost you energy instead of saving you energy. World record times set by elite swimmers in short course pools are slightly faster than those set in long course pools.
