Ah, finally one I can totally agree with! I just bought concert tickets for his show coming in September. I can't wait.:D
Man, you either you guys are old, or it just goes to show you how good all of those bands/artists are because their songs are still being played on the radio and their albums are still being sold. I'm only 23 and most of the lists are before my time, yet I have those cd's in my car.
some of my favorites:
Queen
Guns N Roses
Elvis
AC/DC
The Doors
But the best concert I went to was Garth Brooks, he was an awesome showman.
Jerry lee Lewis (SFO)
The Stones (Fort Collins, CO)
Fleetwood Mac (Denver)
Dylan (NY, Miami, SFO)
C-S-N & Young (Miami)
Neil Diamond (LA)
Doors (Miami)
Carlos Santana (Miami & SFO)
# 1 of all time.....Moody Blues at Red Rocks, Denver, CO
Can't believe I haven't seen Bruce Springstine on this list yet.
I've been watching and reading a lot but add in very little. Couldn't pass up this opportunity.
Best Concert on video -- EVER
Elton John, Live with the Milbourn Symphony Orchistra sometime in the early 80's I think. Elton on stage, white Yamaha Grand piano, wearing a George Washington wig with a red/white/blue top hat, white tails tux. Played about 16 songs with the full orchistra, extra long versions. Awesome absolutely awesome.
Anyone remember that one?
Can anyone tell me how to spell check in this forum. I apologize for all the errors.
Kim, I had that thought yesterday. Couldn't believe no one had brought up Springsteen! I had a few others I came up with that I was shocked no one listed but the escape me now...
